Tim Lincecum is fun to watch not only because he throws gas but because he does this at 5′11 170 lbs. What makes him able to do this is athletic ability. This means that he is an amazing athlete. As much as I hate to say it, genetics is a powerful component to your success as an athlete. The only way around average genetics is training. This is where a lot of young athletes go wrong. Just because Tim Lincecum trains a certain way, doesn’t mean that if you do the same thing, you will become a Tim Lincecum. This is bad logic because of the genetics factor. More than likely to become a Tim Lincecum you must train a lot harder than he does.

There is some secrets in his pitching delivery that can and will benefit all pitchers and that is more than likely why you found this web page. Because the pitching delivery, at Tim’s level, happens faster than the human eye can record, it makes it very difficult to understand what someone is doing different than you when pitching. What you need is a high speed camera, an above average understanding of classical physics and many years of experience pitching.

A pitching coach or teacher who does not have much experience pitching has a harder time understanding the pitching delivery. There is something significant in truly understanding the mechanics of the delivery after you have spent many years perfecting your own mechanics but this doesn’t work the other way around. Just because you have many years of pitching experience doesn’t mean you truly understand the mechanics. This is usually the case with a nature athlete. This is someone who is very athletic and pitching comes very easy to them. This usually means that they do not have to understand the mechanics of pitching because they are not looking for much improvement. Those who are not as naturally talented as pitchers but who have found success make the best pitching coaches.

To learn from a pitching coach who would meet this criteria you must read this article on how Lincecum throws so hard. This article pulls the secrets of Tim’s delivery to the surface.

If you are wondering who this picture is of here. It is of Dave Draveky, he was a starting pitcher for the Giants back in the 80’s. He was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his throwing arm bicep during his career. His Doctor removed part of his bicep and froze his humorous bone to stop the cancer. After the operation the doctor told Draveky he would never pitch again. He chose not to listen to his doctor and he made his way back to the game he loved. He made it back to Candlestick park where he pitched some amazing games before a major event changed his life. This event went down in history as “The Pitch Heard Around the World.” In Draveky’s own words – It’s the sixth inning and I’m back out on the mound and I rear back to throw a fast ball to Tim Raines who’s at the plate and all of a sudden as I let go of that pitch my left arm snapped in half. There was this incredible explosion in my left ear from my arm snapping in half. I had fallen to the ground…almost went into shock. Draveky’s arm was literally in pieces and the doctors had to amputate. The picture is of him many years after the event.

I am not telling Draveky’s story to scare you about pitching or cancer but to prove that the pitching arm takes a tremendous amount of abuse through a long career. Therefore if a pitcher is going to have a long successful career he must not get cancer in the arm and also learn how to not abuse it. Sense most pitchers will not get cancer in their pitching arm like Draveky it is very important that they learn how to take care of this valuable tool.

“In the last 10 years Tommy John surgeries have increased by 700 percent in the amateur pitching market. Something is obviously wrong here.”
Rick Peterson

Injuries continue to plague the game in both the high and low levels. I believe this is because of the lack of education in the sport. If you learn anything from this articles it is that pitching with a lack of education of throwing mechanics will lead to an injury. It is just a matter of time. If you want to have a healthy pitching arm I highly recommend that you learn how to NOT overuse and abuse it. You can get all the education you will need on pitching at www.TopVelocity.net.

The reason it works, besides being one of the best resources for developing fast twitch muscle fiber and teaching you how to use that new muscle development to increase pitching velocity, is because it has instructional videos to walk you through ever exercise routine. The instructor is Chad Englehart who is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Ever handbook comes with a coupon code to watch the videos for FREE. A free online rental of the videos has a six day expiration date. If you would like a FREE coupon code to the videos but are not sure if you want to buy the handbook then I have a secret to tell you.

Take your career to the next level!

The Ace Pitcher Hanbook is a diamond in the rough of the pitching world. Its main focus is pitching velocity but within that approach optimal pitch location and arm health exist. This is true only because this handbook is based on Physics Driven Mechanics. Everything in the Ace Pitcher Handbook can be supported by science. It is no longer the Art of Pitching, Pitching is a science and this handbook proves it. If you want to increase velocity, pitch location and arm health you must learned how to build torque within your three pivots and allow this torque to assist your momentum to pitch release.

Here is an excerpt from the introduction of the handbook to give you a better idea of what to expect.

“This handbook is here to help you as a pitcher to reach your full potential. Pitching at the top levels of the game is not an easy road. If it was, everyone would be doing it. This is why this handbook exist, it is here to help make your journey to the top a smoother ride or maybe even possible. The information in this handbook took over a decade to develop. This handbook will give you the information you will need to improve your athletic performance a lot quicker than if you did it on your own. This handbook is saving you time and in return will open many more doors to your pitching career. For you to get the most out of this handbook, it will require focused determination and incredible persistence.

What this handbook will do for you, is give you the guidance to practice, train, eat, sleep and breathe like a top level pitcher. Pitchers are made all year round, so it is important to follow this handbook completely. Don’t forget that your toughest competitor is probably working harder than you.

What this handbook will NOT do for you is, force you to read it, or even allow you to do less as a pitcher because you know more than your peers. So take this fountain of pitching knowledge seriously, as if someone has given you the answers to life itself and use it to its fullest.”

If you would like to read or write a review of this handbook please use the comment section below. If you want to join or start a discussion on a topic from the handbook then visit the TopVelocity.net forums here.

Have you asked yourself any of these questions in your career?

Am I satisfied with my pitching velocity?

Have I tapped into my full Pitching potential?

What secrets of the game are my coaches not teaching me to make it to the next level?

How many times must I injury my arm or myself until I learn what is causing this damage?

Do I have the will to take it to the next level?

Do I have a mental game?

Am I in touch with my inner athlete?

Am I aware of my talents and weaknesses?

Do I really want to play this game at this level?

Do I have what it takes to be a professional?

Do I know what I am doing as a pitcher?

Am I making the right decisions in my career?

If you have asked yourself at least three of these questions then YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

I know what it is like to not be satisfied with my career. I know what it is like to hit a plateau or find myself dealing with a serious injury. I know what it is like to fail and fail miserably. I know what it is like to want to quit. I know what it is like to be lost on the mound. I also know what it takes to overcome these major feats in a pitching career.

“It takes determination, Inspiration and Knowledge. I can not teach you determination but I can inspire you and teach you everything you need to know to become the ACE and move on to the next level.”

Always remember that baseball is a game and games are made to teach us about our talents and weaknesses. To be successful you must be able to use your talents to overcome your weaknesses. If your talents are unable to overcome your weaknesses then you have failed but failure is not the end. Failure is the opportunity to develop new talents. This is the strategy of a championing. If you can keep this big picture in your career you will be as successful as you desire. When we become lost as athletes is when we can no longer see the forest from the trees. This means we have lost our understanding of the goal and the path to that goal.

Start your new path today to a extraordinary pitching career today. All it takes is some determination and I will give you the rest!
